Kuala lumpur is a very sophisticated city known for its amazing food and nightlife. It’s a little more expensive than most cities in southeast asia.
The best place to stay in Kuala lumpur is china town because all the markets are there. Chinatown one of the best places to do shopping in Asia.It’s a little more expensive but for the quality and diversity its well worth it.
 

When you arrive at KLIA airport, you can look for the budget taxi which will cost around 79 reep (around 20$usd). it takes around 45 minutes to get to chinatown from the airport.
If you want something cheaper,  look for the bus terminal in KLIA airport . Tell the ticket counter that you want to take the bus/coach that drop passengers at the Pudu Sentral (Pudu-Raya) terminal. Pudu Sentral is just a few minutes walk from Chinatown. Bus fare is around Ringgit 12.00 only.

the most popular areas to visit are:

• Changkat Bukit Bintang which is a street full of good bars.

• From changkat Bukit you can walk to Jalon Alor which is the food street.  This street is food paradise and the food is delicious. Probably one of the best food places in all Asia.

• The petronas towers are a must see in KL. They are more majestic at night than during the day.

• China town

Religion and politics are very delicate subjects in Malaysia so they avoid talking about it.

Just to give you an example,  if a Christian Malaysian falls in love with a Muslim women.The man has to become muslim by law. I would recommend 2-3 nights in kuala Lumpur.
